The committee responds immediately on request when problems occur <br /> <br /> in the homes - working with Administrator, staff and families. A letter was <br /> written to Raleigh concerning the need for Nursing Home beds in Cabarrus <br /> County. <br /> <br />6. Summarize the strengths snd weaknesses of the fae/litie~ in the eotmty. <br /> The committee feels that the owners and Administrators ara making every effort <br /> possible to meet the needs of the people. All of the homes have been troubled <br /> with staff turnover. B'eginning this year all new nursing assistants will be <br /> required to go through a training period. This should help to stabilize their <br /> staff. <br /> <br />7. Other comments: <br /> Every home is faced with a shortage of beds.
