Sewer Charqes <br /> <br /> fa) Fees: The following charges for sewer service are <br /> adopted and made effective as of the date of this ordinance <br /> applicable to all sewer service on the Cabarrus County <br /> system. These charges shall consist of a discharge permit <br /> lee plus the appropriate tapping fees as shown below: <br /> <br /> Type of Size of Discharge Tapping <br /> Service Service Permit Fee Fee <br /> <br /> Residental 4" $250 $500 <br /> <br /> Residental 6" $250 per house- All material, <br /> hold unit equip. & labor <br /> <br /> Commercial/ All Sizes $15'00 All material, <br /> Industrial equip. $ labor <br /> <br /> (b) Sewer Rates <br /> <br /> (1) The volume of flow used in computing res~dental or <br /> commercial waste st)all be based upon metered water <br /> consumption. Where the person discharging wastes, other <br /> than industrial waste, into tho sanitary sewers of Cabarrus <br /> County, procures all or part of his water supply tram <br /> sources other than the Board, all or part of which is <br /> discharged in the sanitary sewer, the person discharging <br /> said waste shall install and maintain, at his expense, a <br /> water meter of a type approved by the Board, for the purpsoe <br /> et determining the proper volume of flow to be charged. <br /> <br /> Charges for the sewer service shall be computed <br /> according to the prevailing sewer rate of $1.50 per t,000 <br /> gallons. Said charges shall be paid at the Tax Collector's <br /> Office on or bufore the 14th of each month. After that <br /> date, tile customer will be notified that the account is <br /> delinquent and a late payment fee added to the oustanding <br /> bill. Sanitary sewer service will be disconnected at the <br /> main on upaid accounts in arrears whe~ the balance due is <br /> greater than or equal to the security deposit. The user <br /> will be responsible for all costs of disconnection, <br /> reconnection end current past due sewer charges including <br /> penalties. <br /> <br /> <br />
