Box 707 <br /> Concord, North Carolina 28026-0707 <br /> <br /> Dear Mr. McGinnis: <br /> <br /> This is in regards to the use of the Agricultural Center in conducting <br /> educational programs in Agriculture, 4-H and Youth, Home Economics, and <br /> Community and Rural Development programs. During a typical year, we will <br /> have over 250 different meetings held in this facility. In many of these <br /> meetings, food will be served~ mostly from caterers in this area. Occasionally <br /> a meeting will be held where food is brought by the participants and/or <br /> food prepared and served from this facility. <br /> <br /> In conducting some of our programs, fundraising activities are needed <br /> to help supplement our on-going programs. We have the need to work with <br /> volunteers in 4-H, Home Economics, and Agriculture in conducting fundraising <br /> programs from time-to-time. <br /> <br /> This is a request for permission to utilize the Agriculture Center <br /> for fundraising activities such as yard sales, car washes, barbeque dinners, <br /> etc. to help snpport and supplement our on-going programs. I am attaching <br /> copy of letter from Mr. David Goff, Extension Agent, 4-11 in regard to this <br /> request. <br /> <br /> Please give this request careful consideration.
