N, E. <br />Concord, North Carolina 28025 <br /> <br />Dear Mr: Fisher: <br /> <br />As we notified you several weeks ago. we are now ready to receive your <br />requests for State Aid to Airports funds for Fiscal Years 1989, 1990. <br />and 1991, In order to be considered in. the initial Transportation <br />Improvement Program (TIP) formulation,. the complete request packap:e <br />should be in our hands no later than MilY 6, 1988, It is expected <br />that the Aeronautics Council will meet on July 20, 1988 to establish <br />the recommended funding program. Under. this schedule, we anticipate <br />that projects receiving funds could be given final approval by <br />mid-August. <br /> <br />In light of the changed procedures and certifications. please complete <br />the Preliminary Application Form and other specified supporting <br />documents for all existing allocations for FY 89 and FY 90. The <br />attached sheet shows your allocated projects for two years. Completion <br />of the certifications will be necessary to carry the allocation forward. <br /> <br />Thére have been no allocations made for Fiscal Year 1991, so all <br />projects requested for this year will be new requests, In addition, <br />you may request new projects for FY 89 and FY 1990, even if you already <br />have allocations for other work elements. <br /> <br />Please pay elose att~ntion to the instructions for completing the <br />Preliminary Application and make sure the supporting documents are <br />provided for all submissions.
