Box 707 <br /> Concord, NC 28026-0707 <br /> <br /> Dear James: <br /> <br /> In a regular meeting on May 23, 1988, the Cabarrus-Rowan Park Commission <br /> took action on the following items. <br /> <br /> The Park Commission has nominated Mr. Michael Ward to represent Cabarrus <br /> County on ~the Cabarrus-Rowan Park Commission. I have enclosed the standard <br /> Cabarrus County application. Please present this nomination recommendat£on <br /> to the Cabarrns Board of Gounty Commissioners in their June meeting. <br /> <br /> In another agendm item, the Park Commission appointed their 1988-89; <br /> Mr. Larry Brown - Chairman, Mr. Terry Moss - Vice Chairman and Executive <br /> Secretary - Mr. Jim <br /> <br /> The Park Commission adopted additional park hours for Bakers Creek <br /> Park due to the demand for picnic use on Sundays. The old Bakers Creek <br /> Park open hours were Sundays from 1:00 p.m. antil 10:00 p.m. (Spring/Summer) <br /> and 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. (Winter), the new park hours will open on <br /> Sundays at 12:00 noon. <br /> <br /> If you have any queskioms or comments, please feel free to contact <br /> me at your convenience.
