When considering that Stanly County has a <br /> significantly higher bed per thousand ratio and the <br /> substantial 'growth ~nticipated in Cabarrus County,s elderly <br /> population, nearly 13.67% over the next five years, it is <br /> clear that these nursing home beds should be allocated to <br /> Cabarrus County. <br /> <br /> Therefore, I urge the County Commissioners to support <br /> the development of additional nursing home beds in Cabarrus <br /> County.
