Communication Procedures 2 hrs. <br /> <br /> TOTAL HOURS 40-44 HRS. <br /> <br />SECTION 13: Insurance and Financing for the First Responder <br /> Program <br /> <br />Sponsor fire department (First Responder Agency) shall secure and <br />maintain insurance for all activities conducted pursuant to this <br />program In a minimum liability/indemnity amount s~tisfactory to <br />County and shall hold County harmless from any and all liability, <br />damages or claims, including attorney's fees, that might be <br />asserted or suffered by County as a result of any act or omission <br />of any of such respective department's officers, employees, agents <br />or representatives arising out of services performed pursuant to <br />this program. In this regard, on its certificate of insurance <br />provided to the Emergency Services Department, a sponsoring fire <br />department shall indicate that its first responders are covered <br />and that Cabarrus County bear~ no responsibility for the actions <br />cf the respective sponsoring department. <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
