McGinnis <br />D~TE: July 13, 1987 <br /> <br />RE: Harrisburg Planning Board <br /> Harrisburg Zoning Board of Adjustment <br /> <br />The To~n Council of Harrisburg has combined the Town's Planning Board <br />and the Town's Zoning Board of Adjustment into one Board -- the <br />Harrisburg Planning and Zoning Board. According to the Harrisburg Town <br />Clerk, this action was taken in 1985. As a result of this combination, <br />the Board of Commissioners has only two extraterritorial jurisdiction <br />appointments to the Planning and Zoning Board instead of the previous two <br />appointments to the Planning Board and five appointments to the Zoning <br />Board of Adjustment. <br /> <br />At the meeting on June 15, the Board of Commissioners reappointed Mr. <br />David Schneider to the Harrisburg Planning Board for a three-year term. <br />The Town of Harrisburg is recommending the appointment of Mr. Gary A. <br />Tolh-T~ to ~eplace Mr. Schneider as a member of the Planning and <br />Board. This term of appointment would expire July 1, 1990. <br /> <br />Also, on June 15, the Board of Commissioners voted to reappoint Ms. <br />Gwlmn Horris to the Zoning Board of Adjustment for a three-year term. <br />This reappointment was in error. Ms. Morris should ~_.li_s~ad_as-a <br />member of the Harrisburg Planning and Zon~g Board to complete a term <br />ending July 1, 1988. <br /> <br /> <br />
