I <br /> <br /> A regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the <br />County of Cabarrus~ North Carolina, was held in the Commis- <br />sioners' Meeting Room in the County Courthouse in Concord, North <br />Carolina, the regular place of meeting, at 9:30 A.M., on October <br />5, 1987. <br /> <br /> Present: Chairman James W. Lentz, presiding, and <br />Commissioners <br /> <br /> Absent: <br /> <br /> Also present: Frankie F. Small, Clerk to the Board of <br />Commissioners, and Blair D. Bennett, Finance Officer. <br /> <br /> Commissioner introduced the follow- <br />ing two orders authorizing bonds which were read: <br /> <br /> ORDER AUTHORIZING $29,000,000 <br /> SANITARY SEWER BONDS <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDERED by the Board of Commissioners for the <br />County of Cabarrus: <br /> <br /> 1. That, pursuant to The Local Government Bond Act, as <br />amended, the County of Cabarrus, North Carolina, is hereby <br />authorized to contract a debt, in addition to any and all other <br />debt which said County may now or hereafter have power or <br />authority to contract, and in evidence thereof to issue Sanitary <br />Sewer Bonds in an aggregate principal amount not exceeding <br />$29,000,000 for the purpose of providing funds, with any other <br />available funds, for enlarging and extending the sanitary sewer <br />system of said County, including the construction of additional <br />sewage collector, force and interceptor mains and lines, <br />additional sewage pumping facilities, additional sewage treatment <br />facilities and appurtenant facilities, and the acquisition of <br />necessary land, rights of way and equipment. <br /> <br /> 2.
