NORTH CAROLINA <br /> PETITION TO CLOSE PUBLIC ROADS/EASEMENTS <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br /> THE UNDERSIGNED does hereby request the Board of <br />Commissioners of Cabarrus County to adopt a resolution declaring <br />its intent to close a public road/easement and, pursuant to <br />N.C.G.S. 153A-241, to call a public hearing on said question and <br />in support of said petition shows unto the Board: <br /> <br /> 1. The petitioner is the sole property owner abutting a ten <br />foot (10') alley, Main Street and Southside Avenue, between High <br />Avenue (unopened) and Central Avenue (unopened) (the <br />"Roads/Easements") in Midland, No. 10 Township, Cabarrus County, <br />North Carolina, as shown on a survey for Tommy Harts£11 dated <br />January 8, 1987, prepared by Harold R. Boles, Residential Land <br />Surveyor. <br /> <br /> 2. The petitioner requests that said Roads/Easements, as <br />shown on the above-referenced plat, which have never been opened <br />for public use, be closed to the public. <br /> <br /> 3. The petitioner is the sole adjoining property owner <br />adjoining said Roads/Easements; that no individual or entity <br />owning property in the vicinity of Roads/Easements or in the <br />subdivision in which they are located will be deprived of a <br />reasonable means of ingress and egress; and that the closing of <br />the Roads/Easements is not contrary to the public interest. <br /> <br /> <br />
