Box 1149 <br /> Concord, NC 28025 <br /> <br /> RE: Amendment to Permit //13-02, Cabarrus County Sanitary Landfill <br /> <br /> Dear Mr. Pilkington: <br /> <br /> lhe revised construction plan for the referenced facility was approved on <br /> April 27, 1987, subject to the conditions specified in the amended permit. <br /> ~hese conditions have not been fully met, consequently the amended permit is <br /> not in effect. <br /> <br /> ~he required monitoring wells have been installed and sampled in accordance <br /> with the North Carolina Water Quality Monitoring Guidance Doct~nent. <br /> <br /> However, the required 200' buffer between the waste boundary and the southern <br /> property boundary has not been provided. Consequently, the plans must be <br /> revised to provide this buffer or, as suggested by the county, an equivalent <br /> strip of adjacent land could be purchased.
