Mr. Charles McGinnis, County Manager Narch 4, 1986 Page Six 1. Laboratory tests, specialized soils, hydraulic or other studies may be recon~ended by us. The cost of such tests and/or studies shall be borne by the County, provided, however, that the County shall be advised of and give consent to such tests and studies prior to their being made. 2. Miscellaneous design not a part of projects specifically covered herein, property surveys for title transfer or easements, necessary litigation or arbitration, or other work done by us if requested by the County. 3. Redesign at the request of the County after approval of preliminary plans and services provided during readvertisement of bids. 4. Contract Administration and Resident Project Representation Service provided beyond the Construction Contract completion date. We will parform the miscellaneous ~ervices noted above or other miscellaneous services for a fee based on our payroll cost times a factor of 2.5 plus our actual expenses. Automobile travel will be paid at $.20 per mile and other expenses at actual cost. PART VI - GENERAL CONDITIONS The County has the right to terminate this agreement or any task being perfomed at any time by written notice to us, if the County finds that it is inadvisable or impossible to continue the execution of the project, in which case we shall be paid for all services performed and all actual expenses incurred up to the date of termination. As a condition of receiving payment after termination, we shall deliver all completed and uncompleted drawings, documents and data to the County. All invoices for engineering services, except as stipulated in PART I, will be due within thirty (30) days after the invoice is received. The County shall pay interest at a rate of one and one-half (1~) percent per month on any amount not paid in full within sixty {60) days of the date of the invoice.
