Each speaker will be asked to limit conunent to a maximum of five <br /> minutes. Speakers appearing before the State Goals and Policy Board forums will <br /> receive a maximum of ten minutes the first two hours; then five minutes for the <br /> remaining time. <br /> <br />The Goals and Policy Board and the NC Educaticn Council invite you and me~bers' <br />of your organization to participate in the forums. Your assistance is also <br />needed in getting notices out pertaining to the foru~. Several announcements <br />are enclosed, and I would appreciate your posting the notices and/or <br />distributing them to members of your organization, colleagues, and interested <br />persons. If you need additional copies, please feel free to reproduce copies as <br />you need them. <br /> <br />If you or members of your staff or organization plan to address the forums, <br />please let us know by calling either Doris Gupton or Patricia Yancoy at 733-4131 <br />or you may sign-in at the door upon your arrival at the forums. <br /> <br />The members of the Goals and Policy 8oard and the NC Education Council will use <br />the information coming from these forums to help develop recommendations that <br />will be presented to the Governor in late April. Your assistance in generating <br />interest in and fostering input into their work and deliberations will be <br />gratefully appreciated.
