PROCLAHAT I ON <br /> <br /> k~EREAS, trees provide a renewable natural resource vital to <br />the well-being of man. <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, the mmny products produced from wood and wood fibers <br />cause us to depend on them. <br /> <br /> k~EREAS, trees are a vital link in the erosion control of our <br />limited topsoil. <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, trees are a large part of the plant community that <br />produce the oxygen we breath. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, I, in full appreciation of trees to the public <br />welfare, and desiring to have those who protect it, do hereby proclaim <br />April 25, 1986. <br /> <br /> ARBOR DAY <br /> <br /> in the schools of Cabarrus County <br /> <br /> James W.
