I <br /> AMENDMENT TO CABARRUS COUNTY MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br /> <br />BUDGET AND SUPPORT <br /> <br />The County Extension Chairman will prepare and submit an annual budget request to <br />the County Board of Commissioners for the county's share of funds for salaries and <br />operating expenses. It is further understood that: <br /> <br /> A. Cabarrus County will pay 47.69% of the salaries of County Extension <br /> Agents and the County Extension Chairman and 57.98% of the salaries <br /> of two Extension secretaries and the full salary of one Extension <br /> secretary (the secretary's position currently filled by Mrs. Christine <br /> Barrier will be managed according to the county's pay plan). <br /> <br /> B. The North Carolina Agricultural Extension Service will pay 52.31% of <br /> the salaries of County Extension Agents and the County Extension <br /> Chairman and 42.02% of the salaries of two Extension secretaries. <br /> <br /> C. The North Carolina Agricultural Extension Service will provide <br /> supervision, review and evaluation of Extension personnel paid <br /> in part or entirely by NCAES according to the Extension Management <br /> System for Personnel Development and its undergirding policies and <br /> procedures. Salary increases will be based upon the findings of <br /> this process and the mandates of state government or university <br /> policy. <br /> <br /> O. The North Carolina Agricultural Extension Service will provide <br /> supervision, review and evaluation of County Extension secretaries <br /> paid entirely by Cabav'rus County through the County Extension Chair- - <br /> man. The County's Personnel Management Plan and its undergirding <br /> policies and procedures will be followed and salary increases will <br /> be recon~nded based upon the findings of this process. <br /> <br />This agreement amends the Memorandum of .Understanding between the North Carolina <br />Agricultural Extension Service, A & T State University and the Cabarrus County <br />Board of Commissioners and shall become effective July 1, 19B6. <br /> <br /> Chairman, Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br /> Date: <br /> <br /> Director, N.
