Detailed Scope of Work <br />Page 1 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br /> The major ingredients that impact the results of the market survey <br /> are: <br /> <br /> -Stability of Harket: Seasonal demand versus year found; stable <br /> price versus vhriable; customer solvency; customer villingness to <br /> enter into long-term agreements. <br /> <br /> -Demand Profile (load factor); Customer requirements for produet. <br /> i.e. 24 hour/day, 7-day per week; constant demand or variable, etc. <br /> <br /> -Reliability Required: Firm guaranteed product supply on 24-hour <br /> basis or lnterruptible type supply agreement. This factor mill <br /> impact faciiity cost, standby equipment and redundancy. <br /> <br /> -Institutional Factors: Clients ability to negotiate long-term <br /> contract agreements. <br /> <br /> -Specifications: Customer required quality of energy; e.g. pressure, <br /> qualityj purityj etc. <br /> <br /> -Ability to transmit energy from resource recovery facility to the <br /> potential energy client. <br /> <br /> Activities of this task will also include: <br /> <br /> -Review and identify other potential energy-user'markets ~hieh may be <br /> available. <br /> <br /> -Contact all potential customers to explain the proposed project and <br /> determine their interest in purchasing the recovered energy. <br /> <br /> -Review ~onthly historical energy requirements of all potentlal <br /> energy customers. <br /> <br /> -Determine whether any energy customers plan major plant additions <br /> ~,hich would require substantial additional energy use. <br /> <br /> -Review the current source and cost of all potential energy <br /> customers* energy supplies. <br /> <br /> -Prepare an estimate of the projected cost of the energy sources <br /> availab3e to the potential customers of the energy recovery <br /> system. <br /> <br /> -Review the efficiency of transmitting the energy through the <br /> proposed distribution system and estimate the energy losses <br /> associated with such a distribution method, <br /> <br /> <br />
