Detailed Scope of Work
Page 1
Page 3

The major ingredients that impact the results of the market survey
are:

-Stability of Harket: Seasonal demand versus year found; stable
price versus vhriable; customer solvency; customer villingness to
enter into long-term agreements.

-Demand Profile (load factor); Customer requirements for produet.
i.e. 24 hour/day, 7-day per week; constant demand or variable, etc.

-Reliability Required: Firm guaranteed product supply on 24-hour
basis or lnterruptible type supply agreement. This factor mill
impact faciiity cost, standby equipment and redundancy.

-Institutional Factors: Clients ability to negotiate long-term
contract agreements.

-Specifications: Customer required quality of energy; e.g. pressure,
qualityj purityj etc.

-Ability to transmit energy from resource recovery facility to the
potential energy client.

Activities of this task will also include:

-Review and identify other potential energy-user'markets ~hieh may be
available.

-Contact all potential customers to explain the proposed project and
determine their interest in purchasing the recovered energy.

-Review ~onthly historical energy requirements of all potentlal
energy customers.

-Determine whether any energy customers plan major plant additions
~,hich would require substantial additional energy use.

-Review the current source and cost of all potential energy
customers* energy supplies.

-Prepare an estimate of the projected cost of the energy sources
availab3e to the potential customers of the energy recovery
system.

-Review the efficiency of transmitting the energy through the
proposed distribution system and estimate the energy losses
associated with such a distribution method,
