Robinson/Planning Director DATE: March 13, 1985 SUBJECT: Status Report on Water Project and Required Action by Water and Sewer District Commissioners Attached you will find a processing checklist used by the Farmers Home Administration to process projects they fund. We need to have completed all items through number 58 in order to put the water project out to bid. I have circled items left to complete and would like to briefly comment on each item. Item 13 - Legal Services Agreement - This document has been drawn up and must be signed by Fletcher Nartsell. Item 14 - Water Purchase Contract - This Contract must be approved by FmHA before the County can adopt it. The contract was sent FmHA over a month ago. Mr. W.T. Sorrell is checking status and hopes to call me Friday or Monday with verbal approval so the County and District can sign the contract. Item 17 - Bond Certification - The County Attorney must complete this item. Item 35 - Options to Purchase Property - Four parcels of land must be purchased. Three property owners have agreed to sell, while the fourth may need to be condemned. The County Attorney must complete these transactions. Item 43 - Sedimentation Control Plan - HDR hopes to have this item completed by ~arch 18, 1985. HDR is waiting for approval by the State. :' Item 47 ~ Approval of Final Plans - This item needs approval of the District Commissioners as soon as possible. Item 48 - Approval of Final Plans - HOR is awaiting final approval by the Fm~A,. Approval is expected very soon. Item 50 - EPA Certification - Certification is expected very soon.
