Having now completed nine months of the fiscal year, we would
expect our Title III-B Social Services and Title HI-C Nutrition Services contractors to
have met at least 75% of their goals for units of service provided (Chart 1), grant
funds earned (Chart 2) and program income collected (Chart 3). The Title V Senior
Employment Project contractors should have full enrollment (Chart 4) and have earned
75% of available grant funds (Chart 5).

During this last quarter of the fiscal year, we will be working very closely with our
eontraetors to insure the maximum use of available grant funds in order to provide
much needed services. We will be able to submit major budget revisions to the
Division of Aging through May 20, 1985. The Area Agency will be able to approve
most minor line item revisions through the end of the contract period.

In June, we will be developing new eontrants to execute for FY '86. We look forward
to working with you. Please let me know if you have any questions concerning the
aging programs or if our staff may be of assistanee.

KB/pwb

Attachment

ce: Title IH and Title V Contractors
Region F Aging Advisory Committee

~Rus COUNTY concord ha.~sbu~g mount pleasant GASTON COUNTY belmont besseme~ city chert, villa cramerlon
gaslonia high shoals lowell mcadenville mount holly rank) stanley IREDELL COUNTY harmony mooresville statesville
ttou~man LINCOLN COUNTY I~nco~lon MECKLENBURG COUNTY chadotle cornelius dav~ huntetsvflle matthews p~ne~lle
ROWAN COUNTY china grove cleveland granite quany landis rockwell sahsbu~ spencer STANLY COUNTY aR~ernafle
Iocusl newlondon non¥ood oakboro richfield stantield UNIONCOUNTY indiantrai{ rnafshville monroe stallings waxhaw wingale
