Page - 2 - <br /> <br />COOPERATION <br /> <br />North Carolina Division of Forest Resources personnel attended one <br />Chief's meeting and one Cabarrus County Firemen's Association <br />meeting. One fire department was visited at their unit meeting. <br /> <br />The County Ranger attended a meeting with Emergency Operations <br />Board and one Rural Development Panel Board meeting this quarter. <br />These meetings are in association with the ASCS Office. <br /> <br />We provided the Sheriff's Department with aerial photographs and <br />one person on the search for a missing person. Due to adequate <br />volunteer response, no additional help was requested by the <br />Sheriff's Office after the first day. <br /> <br />TRAINING <br /> <br />Assistant County Ranger Mary Noggard has' completed her training <br />in forest management and has passed a comprehensive field practical <br />exam. Ms. Hoggard has completed all phases of her Ranger training <br />on or before the established dates. <br /> <br />Both Rangers have attended schools on law enforcement and incident <br />command systems held at the.Distriet Office this quarter. This <br />training is necessary to insure quality performance of assigned <br />duties for both Rangers. <br /> <br />FIRE CONTROL AND PREVENTION <br /> <br />One fire Ras reported, and was caused by carelessness. No damage <br />was reported.
