In such cases <br />provided funds are available, the county will assist in <br />financing of the project by paying the coat for facilities <br />larger than 6 inches. <br /> <br /> The county will In turn collect a connection fee <br />from future connections based on the county's cost <br />participation divided by the footage of line not within the <br />developers property. <br /> <br /> Commercial or Industrial property will be cha~ged <br />the fee for the total footage of their property, residential <br />units will be charged for up to a maximum of I00 feet per <br />connection. In addition to the footage fee, the normal <br />service connection fee, security deposit, and turn-on will <br />be charged. <br /> <br /> if the county is financially unable to aid in the <br />desired extension, the developer may pay the total cost of <br />the system and receive a refund for that portion above 6 <br />inches in size. The refund will also be based on cost <br />versus footage. Fees shall be Collected by the county and <br />returned to the developer on a yearly basis. The maximum <br />time for refunding of monies shall be tan (10} years or 100% <br />of the refundable amount whichever comas first. <br /> <br /> Extensions may be made to new development outside <br />of the District, however, the developer must request that <br />the development be annexed Into the District prior to <br />starting the project. <br /> <br /> C. Fire Protection Facilities <br /> <br /> Connections for fire protection system shall be <br />made to the main line by the District and shall consist of a <br />standard detector meter, valves and appurtenances In a vault <br />located within the street right-of-way. The mnter connection <br />will conform to the District Standard Fire Meter <br />Specifications and consist of a detector meter that will <br />register all ranges of flow. Fire protection water <br />facilities Installed upon owner's private property are for <br />the use of the owner, and the District assumes no <br />responsibility for such facilities. The District will <br />undertake to provide reasonable water Ilnel serving such <br />facilities.
