Systems having booster <br />pumps that are run periodically for testing with the water <br />going to waste will be required to be metered as already <br />specified. The District reserves the right to make <br />necessary I~spectlone to insure compliance with these <br />regulations, and to require check valves or other devices to <br />be Installed by owner. Whnn necessary the District may <br />install devices In fire lines to restrict flow. In such <br />cases, tho owner will be informed of this requirement prior <br /> to installation of the system. No be directly <br /> pumps <br /> may <br />connected to the districts system. <br /> <br /> O. Cost of Service Lines and Meters <br /> <br /> Charges for service lines and meters are listed in <br />the rate schedule. The fees shall be reviewed end adjusted <br />on an annual period. <br /> <br /> Meters will be read at such time that bills will <br />be received by tho customer on or about tho let of every <br />month. The net amount will be due at the Tax Collector's <br />Office by the 10th of the month. After that date, the <br />customer will be notified that the account is delinquent. <br />if the hill is not paid in full by the 25th, water services <br />will ba dlacontlnued end an additional raconnaction fee will <br />be required to have it restored. After a customer has <br />received two delinquent notices, fie further notices will be <br />sent. <br /> <br /> F. Resoonalbllity for Water ~ <br /> <br /> The person receiving water shel be responsible <br />for th~ payment of the water bill. If a water bill becomes <br />delinquent and ia not paid in accordance with the provisions <br />Sf these regulations, water service ia to be discontinued <br />and may not be resumed except in accordance with the <br />provisions of these regulations. Should property, for which <br />there ia a delinquent water bill be sold, the delinquent <br />bill will be paid from the customers deposit. The new owner <br />will be eligible to receive water from the District Water <br />System upon payment of the standard deposit and cut-on fee. <br />The Tax Collector is authorized to take the necessary legal <br />steps to collect delinquent water bills when such action ia <br />deemed advisable. <br /> <br /> O. Services Not Connected. <br /> <br /> Aa a protection against vandalism and to minimize <br />maintenance by tho District, meters off service lines not <br />connected may be removed at the customer's request for <br />oafs-keeping until their replacement la requested. The <br />removal of the meter will not relieve the owner of <br /> <br /> <br />
