Cabarres County Parks and Recreation Department <br /> <br /> Lighting Project - Various Parks <br /> <br /> Sources of Funds <br /> <br />1. Bethel Baseball/Softball Field <br /> <br /> This project is funded through a cooperative effort of the Southeast <br /> Cabarrus Athletic Association and the Cabarrus County Parks and <br /> Recreation Department's Incentive Grant Program. The Parks and <br /> Recreation Commission approved a grant allocating $7,455.D0 toward the <br /> cost of this project. The balance of this cost, $7,455.00, will be <br /> covered by the Athletic Association. The total project cost is <br /> $14,910.00 <br /> <br />2. Mt. Pleasant McAlister Ballfield <br /> <br /> This project is funded by a cooperative effort of the Mt. Pleasant <br /> Recreation Commission and the Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation <br /> Department's Incentive Grant Program. The Parks and Recreation <br /> Commission approved a grant allocating $13,200.0D toward the cost of <br /> this project. The balance of this, $14,185.00, will be covered by the <br /> Mt. Pleasant Recreation Commission. The total project cost is $27,385.0D. <br /> <br />3. Bakers Creek Park Commission Tennis Courts Complex and Ballfield Light <br /> Renovation <br /> <br /> This project is funded by a cooperative effort of the Cabarrus Board of <br /> Commissioners and Rowan Board of Commissioners through the Cabarrus-Rowan <br /> Park Commission's Capital Outlay Budget. The total project cost for the <br /> tennis courts lights is $14,000.00. The total project cost for the <br /> ballfield lights renovation is $2,800.00 <br /> <br /> <br />
