NORTH CAROLINA ) <br /> ) RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENT <br />CABARRUS COUNTY ) TO CLOSE A PUBLIC ROAD <br /> <br /> BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that a Petition was filed at the <br />December 2, 1985 meeting of the Cabarrus County Commission <br />requesting the closing of public road or easement pursuant to <br />N.C.G.S. 153A-241; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the petitioners are all adjoining land owners to <br />Tulake Drive, a road dedicated by virtue of plat and map of <br />the Fingerlake Subdivision, No. 2 Township, Cabarrus County, <br />North Carolina, recorded in the office of the Register of <br />Deeds for Cabarrus County in Plat Book 19, page 23; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Board to close said <br />street and conduct a public hearing on the question. <br /> <br /> BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED THAT: <br /> <br /> 1. A meeting and public hearing on the closing of Tulake <br />Drive as shown on the plat and map of Fingerlake Subdivision, <br />No. 2 Township, Cabarrus County, North Carolina and recorded <br />in Plat Book 19, page 23 shall be had before the Cabarrus <br />County Commissioners at their regular meeting on the 6th day <br />of January, 1986. <br /> <br /> 2. Notice of the public hearing shall be published once <br />a week for four successive weeks in a paper of general <br />circulation in the County and notice of the meeting shall be <br />prominently posted in at least two places along the public <br />road. <br /> <br /> This day of November, 1985. <br /> <br /> <br />
