Right ~ Not ~llow Service <br /> <br /> The payment of shy costs or fees, submitting of <br />any petition, or any other act requesting water service doer <br />not guarantee that such service shall be forthcoming. The <br />County shall have the right to refuse to extend service <br />upon any reasonable grounds, end specifically for any use <br />detrimental to the water system, non-payment of required <br />fees, or if., in the sole opinion of the County, it is not <br />economically feasible. <br /> <br /> E_ Maintenance bv Customer <br /> <br /> The customer shall be responsible for the <br />maintenance of all plumbing, from the meter into and <br />including the house plumbing end the County shall have <br />the right to discontinue aery ce to any property that does <br />not maintain the plumbing or abide by the plumbing code. <br />Further, should the customer require water at a pressure <br />different from that supplied by the County, it shall be <br />his responsibility to instal the necessary device(s) to <br />make the adjustment. <br /> <br /> F. liability ~ District <br /> <br /> The County shall not be liable to consumers, <br />owners or any person for the failure to furnish water for <br />any purpose or under any conditions, or for the quantity or <br />quality of the water furnished, or for any damage that may <br />result from the shutting off of water from the mains or <br />reservoirs, even though no notice of the shutting off of <br />water shall have been given. All permits and contracts for <br />the use of water from the water system of the County are <br />expressly made subject to the provisions hereof. <br /> <br /> G. Mete~ <br /> <br /> All meters shall be installed and owned by the <br />County end the County reserves the right to remove, <br />test, seal and interfere with the meter for causes deemed <br />justifiable by the County. <br /> <br /> H. By-Peas <br /> <br /> No by-pass around any meter shell be installed <br />unless determined by the County to be necessary, end where <br />such devices exist, the use of same shall be regulated by <br />the County. Unauthorized use of by-pas5 may result in <br />removal of meter as well as all other penalties, civil or <br />criminal, provided by law. <br /> <br /> <br />
