FIRE PROTECTION RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> CHANGES REQUESTED BY FIRE CHIEFS <br /> <br /> 1) SECTION 1. <br /> Change the amount of County assistance from $250 to $350 per month. <br />~ Change reference from G.S. 69-25 to Chapter 69, Article 3& <br /> <br /> 2) SECTION 4. <br /> Change the word "members" to "officers" in the first sentence. <br /> / <br /> <br /> 3) SECTION 5(c), <br /> Add" or retired member" in second sentence to read as follows. <br /> <br /> No one other than an active or retired ~ember in good <br /> standing shall be allowed to have this identification <br /> in his possession. <br /> <br /> 4) SECTION 5(e). <br /> ~) Omit "leaving the County free from any responsibility" from the <br /> first sentence. <br /> <br /> 5) SECTION 6(h). <br /> Unless a new Fire Prevention Code is adopted for the County, add <br /> the following at the end of (h): <br /> <br /> The term Fire Chief in the county fire prevention code* <br /> shall refer to the county fire umrshal. <br /> *American Insurance Association, 1970 edition, adopted by <br /> reference, November 1974. <br /> <br /> 6) Add Contract to Provide Tax District Fire Service (see attached). <br /> <br /> <br />
