CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br /> This contract, made end entered into this day of <br /> t9 , by end between the Fire Department <br /> Inc., a nonprofit corporation, and the County of Cabarrus~ <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> That for and in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter <br /> contained, and pursuant to authority granted by G;S 69-25.5, <br /> 69-25.6, and G.S.153A-233, the Fire Department <br /> Inc. and the County of Cabarrus do hereby covenant and agree as <br /> follows= <br /> <br /> t. The County of Cabarrus agrees to annually levy and <br /> collect upon all taxable property lying within the boundries of <br /> the Rural Fire Protection Tax District en <br /> ad valorem property tax equal to __ cents per one hundered <br /> [$100.003 valuation, and to pay the same to the <br /> Fire Department Inc.. <br /> An additional suppliment in the sum of $ per month <br /> shall be payable as specified in the Cabarrus County Fire <br /> Protection Ordinance_ <br /> <br /> 2. The Fire Department Inc_ agrees to <br /> furnish and provide continuing tire protection service to all ' <br /> property lying within the boundries of the <br /> Rural Fire Protection Tax District by dispatching upon call <br /> any or ail of its equipmer, t and adequate personal to operate <br /> <br /> 3. The Tax Collector of the County'of Cebarrus' shall collect <br /> the ad valorem taxes so levied and shall make payment of the same <br /> to the __ Fire Bepartment Inc~ monthly as <br /> collections are made. <br /> <br /> 4_ The Fire Department Inc. agrees to <br /> operate within the guidelines setforth in the Cabarrus County <br /> Fire Protection Ordinance. <br /> <br /> 5.
