III. Declination of a Responsible Employee and Adoption of Grievance Procedures <br /> [Section 51.55(d)] <br /> <br /> A. Governments that receive more than $25,000 in revenue sharing funds must <br />must designate one individual or office (by January 17, 1984) to be responsible for <br />coordination of efforts to comply with the handicapped discrimiatlon regulations. <br />The name of the designated "responsible employee" must be included in the initial <br />public Notice described in Part I, <br /> <br /> B. Governments that receive more thas $25,000 in revenue sharing funds must <br />adopt a grievance procedure (by October 17, 1984) to provide for prompt and equit- <br />able resolution of complaints alleging handicapped discrimination (other than <br />complaints concerning employment or post-secondary edncatioaa! institutions). <br /> <br />IV. Administrative Requirements for Small Recipients [Section 51.55(f)] <br /> <br /> Governments that receive less than $25,000 in revenoe sharing funds may be <br />required to comply With the administrative requirements from which they are initially <br />exempt, if found by ORS to have discriminated against the handicapped.
