NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENTION TO SUBMIT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE AN APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF AN INDUSTRIAL PROJECT The Cabarrus County Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority has determined to~"itsl,~revenuebonds,~ih the principal~ amount of not.m6re than.~3~-~6 of all or a:::~6'~ti~h'"6f ~e 'C~% Of ~ ~ind~t~ial~-project and intends to submit to the Secretary of the Department of Commerce an application for approval of the project if the issuance of the revenue bonds and the project are approved by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Cabarrus, North Carolina. On January 25, 1984, the Authority entered into an Amended and Restated Memorandum of Agreement with qPl[~tids Manufacturing., Inc. ahd NC Plastics, Inc. with respect to the project, which is estimated to cost $3,800,000. The project consista of the acqui- sition, construction and installation of a 9.84-&cre tract of real property located at 145 Caldwell Road, Harrisburg, North Carolina, an approximately 55,000 square foot building on such tract and machinery and equipment for plastic injection molding and other plastic fabrication processes in such building. The project will be operated by NC Plastics, Inc. and will create approximately 50 jobs. Take notice that the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Cabarrus will hold a public hearing in the County Commission- ers' Meeting Room, Cabarrus County Courthouse, Concord, North Carolina, on February 20, 1984 at 7:30 P.M. at which any person may be heard regarding the proposed issuance of such revenue bonds and the project. Following the hearing, the Board of County Commissioners intends to consider and take action on proposals to approve the issuance of such revenue bonds and to approve the project in principle. Any person wishing to comment in writing on the proposed revenue bonds and the project and the submission of the application in connection therewith should do so, within 14 days after the date of publication of this notice, to the Authority, at Post Office Box 707, Concord, North Carolina 28025, Attention: Chairman, to the Board of County Commissioners, at Post Office Box 707, Con- cord.
