The name change has gone from CiVil <br />Defense to.CivS1 Preparedness to Emergency Management and now, Integrated <br />Emergency Management. <br /> <br /> Cabarrus County has operated as an Integrated Emergency Management <br />system for several years, before official recognition at the Federal level. <br /> <br /> The changes requested are only terminology (name) changes. All ~ <br />directives and responsibilities are exactly the same as written in 1977~ <br />This is simply a part of a routine Update of plans and authority underwhich <br />our office operates. <br /> <br />B~/gn <br /> <br /> <br />
