Thc ultimate goal will <br /> be to reduce the incidents of juvenile crime in the commnnity, <br /> <br />Statement of Measurable Objectives: . <br /> 1. Provide an emergency residence for 7~ per cent of all children determined by <br /> service workers to need such care (5 children will be cared for at one time and <br /> 30 will be cared for on an annual basis). <br /> 2. For 60 per cent of all children who enter the program, prepare for long-term <br /> placement within 90 days of the entry date (preparation is defined as stabilization <br /> of the child's behavior to a point where he is ready for placement and development <br /> of a long-tern care plan - preferrably in the child's oun home). . <br /> 3. Of the children involved in this program 50 per cent will achieve snccessful <br /> adjustment for six months following long-term placement. (Success shall be defined <br /> as: 1. the child does not come to the attention of the 3uvenile Court; 2. the child, <br /> the social worker, and his legal guardian agree that placement was successful six <br /> months after it was made.) <br /> <br />Information [laintained for Effectiveness Measurement: Continued... <br /> The I}SS staff ~ill make contact with the child and/or his family six months after the <br /> child leaves the Shelter Care to determine if the child has achieved stability in his <br /> long-term placement according to the measurable objectives as stated above. <br /> <br /> i© <br /> <br /> <br />
