Your project period <br /> · is April 20, 1984 to December 31, 1985. Let me urge you to <br /> commence work i~aediately so as to avoid any difficulty in com- <br /> pleting it by the expiration date. Progress on the project must <br /> be apparent within six (6) months. <br /> <br /> Enclosed, please find two copies of an Agreement describing <br /> the project scope and listing various conditions and requirements <br /> that must be satisfied. Please read the Agreement carefully, sign <br /> and have notarized beth copies, and return them to me at the follow- <br /> ing address: Division of Parks and Recreation, North Carolina <br /> Department of Natural Resources and Community Development, Post <br /> Office Box 27687, Raleigh, North Carolina 27611. A signed copy <br /> will be returned for yobr files. <br /> <br /> This project must be completed as described in the project <br /> Agreement. Deviation from the project Agreement without prior <br /> approval will result in some loss of grant funds. <br /> <br /> Thorough financial records must be maintained for all project <br /> expenditures in accordance with North Carolina's Land and Water <br /> Conservation Fund Fiscal Manual. I am enclosing a copy of this <br /> manual for your use. If you have any questions concerning this <br /> information, please feel free to call Mr. Bob Amos, your <br /> regional Recreation Consultant. A separate ledger account should <br /> be kept for all financial transactions relating to the project for <br /> purposes of federal audit review. Complete and satisfactory financial <br /> records will help prevent future audit exceptions that could result in <br /> <br /> <br />
