STATE OF NORTN CAROLINA <br /> RESTRICTIVE COVENANTS <br />COHNT~ OF CAEARRDS <br /> <br /> TSA?t W~EREAS, the CODNTY OF CABARRUS and HISTORIC <br />CABARRUS, INC., are the owners of that certain tract or parcel <br />of land in the County of Cabarrus, North Carolina, upon which <br />~s located the Cabarrus County Courthouse; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Cabarrus County Board Of Commissioners <br />and ~{istoric Cabarrus,' Inc., have applied to the North CaRolina <br />Division of Archives and History, Department of Cultural <br />Resources, for a matching grant of federal funds pursuant <br />to the provisions of the National Historic Preservation Act <br />of 1966 (P.L. 89-665) for the purpose of completing exterior <br />renovation of Cabarrus Couhty Courthouse; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the North Carolina State Division of <br />Archives and History, Department of Cultural Resources, has <br />made a grant of T~RTY-TWO THOUSAND AND NO/100 ($32,000.00) <br />DOLLARS available to the cabarrus County Board of Commissioner~ <br />and Historic Cabarrus, Inc., upon condition that the County <br />of Cabarrus and Historic Cabarrus, /nc., place the fo~lowlng <br />restrictions upon the property to which the grant applies. <br /> <br /> NOW, TBEREFORE, the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners and Historic Cabarrus, Ina., the owners of <br />that certain tract Or parcel Of land in the County of Cabarrus <br />North Carolina, do hereby impose upon said tract or parcel <br />of land th~ following restrictive covenants which shall be <br />binding and enforceable for a period of ten (10) years from <br />the date of recordation of this instrument: <br /> <br /> <br />
