Each program and facility used was rated as to its accessibility by citizens who <br />seek service or participation' in the program offered by the department. Following is a <br />list of departments and the positive approaches that are in place or are being <br />instituted. <br /> <br />Conclusion <br /> <br /> No gross deficiencies - no structural changes needed. <br /> <br /> Positive actions in past - and currently instituted programs <br /> show care is taken to prevent discrimination. <br /> <br /> DEPARTMENT REVIEW <br /> <br />l]ealth <br /> <br /> All facilities accessible. <br /> Outreach - home health to persons restricted in traveling. <br /> Interpreters on call for hearing impaired. <br /> Employees trained in dealing with physicatly impaired. <br /> <br />Agrienitural Extension <br /> <br /> Main building is accessible. <br /> <br /> Most programs are offered in facilities provided by the eommanity agencies and <br /> individuals that request the programs. <br /> <br />Zoning <br /> <br /> Mest public contract is in the office or County Board room that is accessible. <br /> <br /> Employees have been instructed to explain details of maps to visually impaired. <br />Building Inspections <br /> <br /> Most public eohtaet is in the office which is accessible. <br /> <br /> Other contacts are made at construction sites owned by' the public (the county <br /> would not control these facilities). <br /> <br /> <br />
