Most programs can serve 'the <br /> impaired by taking the program to the home of the individual or other suitable <br /> location for the impaired individual. Those that are visually or hearing impaired <br /> can be served by a department if the prospective clients notify the department of <br /> any special needs. Contacts for deaf interpretors have .been made by each <br /> affected department. <br /> <br /> TRANSITION PLAN <br /> <br /> By October 17, 1984 specific organizations that cater to the needs of <br /> handicapped citiZens will be identified and included in the "recruitment source" of <br /> agencies contacted when vacancies occur. <br /> <br /> <br />
