By October 17, 1984 a control sheet will be added to the formal application <br />procedure. This control sheet will ask applicants to declare any impairmentS, <br />race, creed, sex, and age. This information will be used by the person charged <br />with equal employment coordination. <br /> <br />By October 17, 1984 the Advisory Personnel Board will prepare procedures for <br />handling grievances that allege handicap discrimination against employees, <br />job applications, and citizens desiring services° <br /> <br />By October 17 1985, the person designated as compliance officer will <br />promulgate lhrough all normal sources a clear statement authorized by the <br />Board of Commissioners that outlines: <br /> <br />1) The Equal Opportunity Employment Policy <br />2) Grievance procedures for alleged discrimination <br />3) Directive to Department heads to constantly review (annual report) all <br /> programs offered to the public to make sure that no person is discriminated <br /> against. <br /> <br />By October 17, 1984 schedule workshops for municipal employees to acquaint <br />them with the needs of the handicapped and how to effectively deal with these <br />members of the community. <br /> <br /> <br />
