McGinnis <br />Cabarru~ County Manager <br /> <br /> Enclosed for your consideration is a copy of a letter I <br />received from Clyde Propst concerning the fairground property. It <br />is suggested that perhaps a lease to the I~air for a 12-month period <br />as set out in the third paragraph should contain the provision that <br />the County would retain the right to use that property so long as it <br />did not interfere with the fair use during the week of the fair and <br />perhaps the week immediately before and after the fair. <br /> <br /> Also enclosed is a draft of an Agreement between the <br />County and the Town of Mt. Pleasant. I have discussed this with <br />Mr. Erwin Spainhour, Attorney for the Town of Mt, Pleasant, and <br />am sending him a copy today. There may be changes that need to <br />be made in the Agreement, but it contains what I understood the <br />agreement to be at the meeting held earlier by the Chairman of the <br />Board, County Manager, Town Mayor, Mr. Spainhour, myself and the <br />engineers. <br /> <br /> Yours very truly, <br /> · <br /> <br /> J(~h~ R.
