McGinnis, County Manager <br /> <br />RE: Architectural/Engineering Services for <br /> Cabarrus County Courthouse "Proposed 1982 Needs" <br /> <br />Gent temen: <br /> <br />We are pleased to present our qualifications and Scope of Services for <br />furnishing architectural/engineering services in connection with the <br />proposed renovations for the Cabarrus County Courthouse as described in <br />the "Proposed 198~ Needs" attached. <br /> <br />We have had considerable experience in many types of projects including <br />governmental, municipal, ,institutional, commercial, penal, health care <br />and environmental facilities. Recent projects which would be related to <br />your.needs include the following: <br /> <br /> Union County Courthouse, Monroe, N~C. <br /> Georgetown City Hall, Georgetown, S.C. <br /> Gaston County Courthouse - Space Utilizatioe Study <br /> and Developmental Plan, Gastonia, N.C. <br /> Administrative offices - N~C. Department of Motor <br /> Vehicles, Raleigh, N.C. <br /> <br />We have a record of planning facilities at a reasonable cost; <br />keeping witbin budgets and completing them within established time <br />schedules. <br /> <br />The project arcbitect for this work would be John Higgins wbo has had <br />more than 30 years experience as a licensed arcbitect. He bas been <br />involved in all the projects listed above. <br /> <br />This project will require careful and complete planning in order for the <br />execution to be done in the most expeditious manner witb minimum <br />interruption of day to day functioning of each department. Experienced <br />and tborough planning will also be a major factor in reducing <br /> <br /> <br />
