PART III - CONTRACT '~ADMINIST~TION <br /> <br />Perform Contract Administration Services to include the following: <br /> <br /> 1. Make visits to the site at intervals appropriate to various <br /> stages of construction to observe the progress and quality of the <br /> executed work and to determine, in general, if such work is <br /> proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents. <br /> <br /> 2. Check and process shop drawings. <br /> <br /> 3. Review invoices submitted by the Contractors on a basis for <br /> partial payment to Contractors. <br /> <br /> 4. Prepare contract change orders for work within the scope of this <br /> project when applicable. <br /> <br /> 5. Preparation of the closing out of documents, including "record <br /> drawings" from information provided by the Contractors. <br /> <br /> 6. Keep County Officials fully informed as to the progress of the <br /> project. <br /> <br /> The estimated fee for services in Part III Would be $9,000~ <br /> <br />P^RT ~v - M~SCEL~OUS ~C~7~C~E~?~S~RWC~~ <br /> <br />The following services, if required, would be performed when requested by <br />the County. <br /> <br /> I. Laboratory tests or other studies which may be recommended by us. <br /> The cost of such tests and/or studies shall be borne by the <br /> County provided, however, that the County shall be advised of and <br /> give consent to such tests and studies prior to their being <br /> made. <br /> <br /> 2. Miscellaneous design not a part of project specifically covered <br /> herein or other work done by ns if requested by the County° <br /> <br /> 3. Redesign at the request of the County after approval of plans and <br /> specifications during readvertisements of bids. <br /> <br /> 4. Contract administration services beyood the construction period <br /> specified in the approved construction contract documents. <br /> <br />The fee for services in Part IV would be a fee based on onr payroll cost <br />times a factor of 2.5 plus onr out-of-pocket expenses. <br /> <br /> <br />
