Box 707 <br /> Concord, North Carolina 28025 <br /> <br /> Dear Tom: <br /> <br /> SUBJECT: KANLACON Transportation Study, Revised State-Municipal <br /> Agreement for Disbursement and Accounting of Section <br /> 104If) Planning Funds <br /> <br /> Due to the change in required matching ratio for PL funds to <br /> 85-15, it is necessary that Cabarrus County and State approve a <br /> revised Agreement for disbursement and accounting of the funds. <br /> Three copies of the proposed revised Agreement are enclosed for <br /> review and approval by the County. <br /> <br /> In addition to changing the matching funds requirements of Section <br /> 2, paragraph (b) of the Agreement, the following additional <br /> changes were made: <br /> <br /> The funds are now referred to as Section 104 (f) <br /> Planning Funds. <br /> <br /> 2. References citing Federal Regulations, etc. were <br /> updated to ensure they were current. <br /> <br /> 5. Section 2, paragraph (b) was also modified to <br /> provide for recovery of indirect costs should <br /> you desire. <br /> <br /> 4. Section 1 was modified to specify the UWP would <br /> be approved by the TAC as is the current procedure. <br /> <br /> In approving the Agreement, please do not fill in the dates on the <br /> first page of the Agreement. We will fill those in as the date <br /> the Agreement is signed by the State Highway Administrator. Ail <br /> three copies should be returned to us after approval by the <br /> We will return an executed original copy to you after it is signed <br /> and approved by all parties. <br /> <br /> <br />
