* Sec. 7. Doss creating, nuisance prohibited from running at large. * <br /> It shall be unlawful for the owner, keeper or harboror of any dog to permit <br /> * such dog to run at large on any public road, street, or highway or upon the * <br /> <br /> laud of any other person without the consent of that person, <br /> <br /> (**Board Of Health recommends that the word "animals" be used As originally proposed.) <br /> Sec, 8. Interference with enforcement of chapter. <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to interfere with~ hinder or molest <br /> <br /> the Animal Control Department or i~s agents or animal control officers or <br /> veterinarians in the performance of any duty authorized by this chapter, or to <br /> seek to release any animal in the custody of such agents, except as otherwise <br /> specifically provided. <br /> <br /> Sec. 9. Violations <br /> <br /> Any person violating the provision of this ordinance shall be guilty of a <br /> misdemeanor and fined not'more than fifty dollars ($50,00) or imprisoned for <br /> a period of not more than thirty (30) days. <br /> <br /> Sec. 10. <br /> <br /> This ordinance shall apply to all areas of Cabarrus County which lie <br /> outside'of the horporate limits of any municipality. <br /> <br />ED * Sec. 10. <br /> <br />:g * ?hls ordirunce shall apply to all areas of Cabarrus County except those <br /> ·municipalities which request to be exempted. <br /> <br /> · Upon enactment this ordtoance supersedes any prior ordinance. <br /> · This ordi~ance shall be in full force and effect on and after this <br /> <br /> · day of _, 1983, <br /> <br /> <br />
