Destruction of ~onnded or diseased animale. <br /> <br /> Notwithstanding any other provision of this article, any animal Impounded <br />which is badly wounded or diseased (not a rabies suspect) a~d has no identf- <br />fication sball be destroyed tmmedlately in a bumane manner. ,If the animal has <br />ldentiftcation, the Animal Control Department shall attempt tO notify the owner <br />before disposing of such animal, but if the owner cannot be reached readily, and <br />the aoimal is suffering, the Animal Coutrol Department may destroy rbe aniata], at <br />its discretion tn a humane manner. <br /> <br /> <br />
