Specifications ( <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Adjustable Posting_Board <br />The posting board work surface shall be adjustable for two heights - seated and . <br />standing. A'latch shall control two locking pins located in the board assembly <br />to secure the posting board in position. Movement of the board shall be a rack <br />and pinion on left and rlght with an adjustable torsion spring. <br /> <br />The board shall extend over the entire ~idth Of the u~t ~n~-e~t'ehd ~ut from the <br />front of the unit no more than 14". <br /> <br />Conveyor Imbalance ~ <br />The conveyor system shall be capable of transporting loads up to 600 lbs. max/mum <br />imbalance condition. <br /> <br />Media Tray <br />Trays designed for the storage of media shall be constFucted of steel. <br /> <br />Unit sizes and Capacities <br />Unit shall be no more than 102" wide x 95%" high x 59 3/4" deep including moveable <br />posting board to be complete with top, back and side panels made of steel. <br /> <br />Tray Sizes and C~acities <br />Unit to be equipped with 10 carriers. Eight carriers to be bi-level and equipped <br />with 160 8"x5" trays. Two carriers to be designed to accomodate letter size trays <br />and modified for use in 13" pitch unit. (Modification to insure proper posting <br />levell) Unit to be equipped with a total of 12 letter size trays. <br />All trays shall be constructed of steel complete with metal followers and skegs. <br />All letter size trays to be mounted on delrin rollers. <br /> <br />Divider Support for Media <br />In a lateral configuration each carrier shall have three welded dividers and six <br />moveable dividers included as standard. Moveable dividers will. be adjustable on <br />2" centers for the full width of the carrier. <br /> <br />Mechanical Drive and Guide Components <br />Vertical Drive Conveyor Chains shall be American Standard #80-1" pitch precisely <br />guided throughout entire travel. The precise guiding of chains throughout entire <br />travel of the vertical drive shall eliminate chordal action and slop inherent to <br />normal chain'operation and assures quiet practically vibration free operation. <br /> <br />Carrier Stabilization Tracking <br />All carriers shall be stabilized through the use of stabilizing rollers. These <br />rollers shall move within two track systems. One track system is to be located top <br />and bottom left and right on both ends of the column supports. A second internal <br />vertical track combines to provide efficient and controlled movement of the carriers <br />in their rotation. <br /> <br /> <br />
