3. The Town will conkract for the construction of the <br /> interceptor pipeline project. <br /> <br /> 4. The TO%~ will handle all money for the payment of the <br /> <br /> costs of constructing the interceptor pipeline and all necessary <br /> <br />· engineering, legal, accounting, administrative, and other inci- <br /> dental expenditures associated with the construction of the <br /> interceptor pipeline and acquisition of all property, easements <br /> and rights Of way. <br /> <br /> 5~ Funding for the entire project, including preliminary <br /> engineering reports, will be by Cabarrus County; that the County <br /> will provide the Town with sufficient funds to pay all costs of <br /> the project as they become due and payable on a monthly basis; <br /> that all such costs connected with the project, including engineer- <br /> ing, accounting, legal, acquisition of rights of way and property <br /> and administrative costs are to be requested monthly of the County <br /> by the Town by ~itten schedule of such costs. <br /> <br /> 6. The County reserves the right to approve the Town's plans <br /> for the interceptor pipeline before acceptance by the Town. The <br /> bids received by the Town for the construction of said project will <br /> be submitted to the County for its approval prior to acceptance by <br /> the Town and no bid will be accepted for the Town until the County <br /> has approved the same. The County will consider the bids at its <br /> next regular Board meeting provided the bids are submitted to the <br /> County Office not later than Thursday prior to the next regular <br /> meeting, unless a special meeting of the Board'appears necessary. <br /> <br /> 7, The County has committed the sum of $2,300,000.00 ~ <br /> ~=~=:~to fund the project.
