STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />COUNTY OF CABARRUS <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, entered into this day of <br /> <br />1983, by and between the~To~ of Harrisburg, a municipal corpora- <br />tion, State of North Carolina (the "Town"), party of the first <br />part; and the County of Cabarrus, Sta£e of North Carolina (the <br />"County"), party of the second part~ <br /> <br /> W!TNES SETH: <br /> <br /> ~HEREAS, the County of Cabarrus has a vested interest <br /> <br />up to 4.0 million gallons per day of treatment capacity in the <br />Rocky River Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant. <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, the County of Cabarrus will own and operate an <br />interceptor pipeline from Harrisburg to the Rocky River Regional <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant upon the completion of the proposed <br />interceptor pipelinet and that the County intends to transport <br />wastewater for Harrisburg to the treatment plant for treatment. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the premises, <br />the mutual promises, and covenants herein contained, and the <br />mutual benefits flowing to the parties hereunder, the parties <br />hereby agree and contract as follows: <br /> <br /> !.
