the case of an abnormally large water bill, in cases of extreme water <br />wastage, use of water detrimental to the County System, or other <br /> <br />reasons deemed necessary .by the County. <br /> K. Discontinuance of Service <br /> <br /> Request for discontinuance of water service must be received by <br />the County at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to requested <br />cut-off. All water charges must be paid including water used to the <br />time of cut-off. No liability will be assumed by the County for <br />damage to customer's property resulting from discontinuance of <br />service. <br /> <br /> L. Suspension of Service <br /> <br /> A delinquent water bill of 15 days from due date, as well as <br />other causes specified herein (see, for example, cause set out in <br />Section II, Subsection "Right to Not Allow Service"), will constitute <br />grounds for suspension of service. In addition, a property owner may <br />request removal of his meter. In order to have service restored Dr <br />the meter reinstalled, the standard cut-on fee of $10.00 must be paid <br />as specified herein, plus any unpaid water charges; provided, <br />however, that service will not be suspended without the County first <br />sending notice of its intention to suspend service to the last known, <br />or best know~, address of the customer. A person purchasing <br />property where the meter has been removed for non-payment of bills <br />will become a new customer and may obtain services by paying the <br />standard meter deposit ($25.00) and cut-on fee ($10.00). <br /> <br /> -6- <br /> <br /> <br />
