Bex 707 <br />Concord~ N. ~. ~8~25 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. McGinnis: <br /> <br />Attached you will find a deed from Cannon Mills Company for the 27 <br />acre North Kannapolis Community Park Site. The deed is for a donation <br />of the land to Cabarrus and Rowan Counties as tenants in common under <br />the provisions of "an agreement between local units of government cre- <br />ating the Joint ~ark Commission to be known as the Cabarrus-Rowan <br />Park Commission". <br /> <br />In a called meeting on December l, 1983, the Cabarrus-Rowan Park <br />Commission unanimously approved the attached deed. The Resolution <br />approved by the Board requested that each county approve the acceptance <br />of the deed as referenced in Section C, VII., of the Resolution creating <br />the Cabarrus-Rowan Park Commission.
