NOR~i CAROLINA <br /> PETITION <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />'Fo: The Board of County Commissioners <br /> Cabarrus County, North Carolina <br /> <br /> The undersigned petitioners respectfully show to the Board of County <br />Commissioners the following: <br /> <br /> 1. That Southem Homes, Inc. is a corporation under the laws of <br />North Carolina. <br /> <br /> 2. That it is tile owner of tho real estate which fronts and is adjacent <br />to each side of that section of Barcliff Road ~ich is hereinafter described. <br /> <br /> 3. That Barcliff Road is shm~ on the map of the Barnhardt Pa~s <br />which subdivision was developed by the petitioners Southern tlomes, Inc. <br /> <br /> 4. That the section of Barcliff Road which is described in this <br />petition has never been opened and is not used in any manner as a roadway <br />or drive or lane. <br /> <br /> S. That your petitioners desire, in accordance with North Carolina <br />General Statutes 183(a)-241, to close the unopened segment of Barcliff Road. <br /> <br /> 6. That the section of Barcliff Road to be closed is described as follows: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at tho corner of Lots No. 26 and 28 on the E. side of said road and <br />running in a northerly direction R=120.O0 feet, L=16.77 feet to a point in Lot <br />No. 26; thence across Barcliff Road, S. 79-03-01 E. 60 feet to a point in Lot <br />No. 29 and in the westcom edge of said road; thence with tho front of Lot No. 29 <br />R=lSO,O0, L=90,84 to the front corner of Lot No. 30; thence with Lot No. 31, <br />R=lSO.O0, L=163.28 feet to a point of Lot No. 32; thence with the Southern side <br />of said street N. 88-10-01 E. 476,84 feet to a point in the front line of Lot <br />No. 40; thenco with said street R=180, L=167,24 feet to a point in Lot No. 44; <br />thence crossing said styeet N. 64-S4-12 ~. 66 foot to a point in the front of <br />Lot No. 42; thence with Lot No. 42, R=120 and L-132.09 to a point in Lot No. 42; <br />thence with the northern side of Barcliff Street, N. 88-10-01 E. 4S9.77 feet to <br />a point in the edge of the street and the front of Lot No. 28; thence R=120.O0, <br />L=1S2.64 feet to tho point of BEGINNING. <br /> <br /> 7.
