ARTICLE I. - Name <br /> <br /> The n~me of the corporation sb_~lt be ~ CAPARRUS ARTS COUNCIL, /NC. <br /> A_r~FICLE II. - Pu~-pose <br /> <br /> This co ~rporation shall have as its purpose the coordination, pr~r~otion, <br />and develo_~_nt of activities in connection with all of the arts in t_he County <br />of Cabarrus ~nd its ,~arrounding area. <br /> <br /> D_~ICI,E III. - Co-?orate Seal <br /> <br /> The corporation may have a corporate seal in the form as may be_ designated <br />by the Board of Direc~ors. <br /> <br /> .~_R~ICLE ~7. - ~bership <br /> <br /> 1. Qualifications - Any organization or individual interested in or <br />asscciated with ~rtistic s_nd cultural activi%ies in Cabarrus County. <br /> <br /> 2. Selection of M~-w~>=-rs - Ail of the m=~to-=rs of the initial Board of <br />Directors of ~ Council shall be de~_n~d the ip_itial m~mb~_rs of the <br />Co~?oration. Lndividuals or organizational memb=_rs shall be a~mi%teJ to <br />m~mb=._~ship u~non a majority vote of Directors at any regular or special <br />meeting of the Board of Directors. <br /> <br /> 3. Voting - Each m~_~ber shall be e=ntitled to one vote on each matter <br />suh~itte~ to a vote of ma~hers. <br /> <br /> ~/~ICLE V. - Meetings <br /> <br /> The ann~al meeting of the m~b~-~s of the co ~rporation shall be_ held at <br />such time and place as ~xecutive Ccn~i~tee shall determine. Special ~etJ~n~s <br />may be called by the Board of Directors at any t~me and shall be called upon <br />v.~_itt~_n request of five me-~bers.
