c. Endorsement, review and approval of changes <br /> to the adopted Transportation Plan. As <br /> required by General Statutes Section 136-66.2 <br /> revisions in the Thoroughfare Plan must be <br /> jointly approved by the local governing ~ <br /> boards and the N. C. Department,of Transpor- <br /> tation; <br /> <br />d. Endorsement, review, and approval of changes <br /> to the Federal-Aid Highway System and Federal- <br /> Aid Urbanized Area Boundary; <br /> <br /> e. Endorsement, review, and approval of a Prospec- <br /> tus for transportation planning which defines <br /> work tasks and responsibilities for the <br /> various agencies participating in the transpor- <br /> tation planning process; and <br /> <br />f. Establishment of goals and objectives for the <br /> transportation planning process. <br /> <br />The membership of the Transportation Advisory <br />Committee shall include: <br /> <br /> a. One member of ~e Concord Board of Aldermen <br /> <br />b. One member of ~]e China Grove Board of Aldermen <br />c. One member of the Landis Board of Aldermen <br /> <br />d. One member of the Cabarrus county Board of <br /> comm~issioners <br /> <br /> e. one member of the Rowan County Board of <br /> Commissioners <br /> <br />f. One member of the North Carolina Board of <br /> Transportation; and <br /> <br />g. The Division Administrator, Federal Highway <br /> Administration or his representative who <br /> shall serve as an advisory and non-voting <br /> member. <br /> <br />The Transportation Advisory Con~ittee will meet as <br />often as it is deemed appropriate and advisable. <br />On the basis of majority vote of its membership, <br />the Transportation Advisory Committee may appoint <br />a member of the Committee to act as Chairperson <br />with the responsibility for coordination of the <br />Committee's activities. A member of the staff of <br />the Carbarrus County Planni~g Department will <br />serve as secretary to the Committee. <br /> <br /> <br />
