The Budget was approved
by the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission ~ February 23, 1982.

A commitment of the recommended funds is needed today in order for design
to begin for Phase I, Stage II by our Landscape Architects, LandDesign, [nc.
of Charlotte. This time schedule would allow the County to complete
the LWCF portion of the project by December 31, 1982, as specified in ~he
County's Contract wi th the State Department of Natural Resources and Com-
munity Development, the Agent representing the Federal Government in this
project.

Consideration of the recommendations in this proposed budget is most ap-
preciated by your Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission If there are
any questions concerning the proposed budget, Chain~an Jim Herman and 1
will be on hand for consultation.

Respectfully Submitted,

William K.
